Otherwise, friendship can be lost through quarrels and sorrow. It also warns of advise best not taken. While it can indicate an obstacle to success, it is important to note that this obstacle perhaps lies within yourself.

A card dealing with relationship troubles, it indicates both arguments and separations. It can speak of an early but unhappy and short-lived marriage. In this scenario, the card also cautions that a second marriage would be similarly unsuccessful. The 6 of Diamonds can also serve as a warning to be too materialistic.

A secondary interpretation indicates prosperity and a long, enduring friendship. Finally familial pride and success with children, such as birth or other good news, is also associated with the 5 of Diamonds.
