2 of Spades - Card of Removal (Work in Progress Revisited) - d. gould
The card often signifies a complete and forced change, such as a break in an important process in the querent’s life. This change can come about in many ways. One popular translation is a sudden loss of home or a sudden change in location. It can also mean a break or division in a relationship, the separation possibly being caused by death, scandal, gossip and/or deceit. If in regard to a particular love interest, the Two of Spades can be interpreted as a warning card, as it could indicate that separation or infidelity is quite likely.

the bee charmer-inspired tote bag
Becca was a prolific writer, ardent reader, and lover of books. … Becca’s life was a daily inspiration filled with curiosity and the seemingly endless search for ‘more.’
As I write this, it’s almost been a full year since my close friend Becca passed away suddenly. In her memory, her parents, with the help of her friends (and perhaps even you), are trying to start a memorial fellowship at Smith College (her alma mater). The hope is for Becca’s “passion for, and achievements in, archival science and special collections to live on forever, in generations of Smith students to come." For the fund to become a reality, we have a year left to raise $150,000. We are currently only about a third of the way there and every little bit helps.
Inspired by her blog the bee charmer, I recently designed this bag that was lovingly screen-printed by my friend Fuchsia and is available for purchase. All proceeds will go directly to her memorial fellowship fund.
To purchase, check out the rebecca samay memorial fellowship fund and donate $10 ($7 for the bag, $3 to cover shipping). Fill in your address and the bag can be shipped.
King of Diamonds (work in progress) - d. gould
While a man of authority or influence, be wary that the King of Diamonds is also hot-tempered, obstinate and revengeful. It’s advisable to not approach him if he appears to be in a bad temper. He can prove to be a bitter rival or a fierce and dangerous competitor. If this card appears in a romantic context, it can indicate an abusive or deceitful lover. While the King of Diamonds might have the ability to be a great help, it doesn’t mean he will consent. In fact, he may very likely refuse.

King of Spades (work in progress) - d. gould
An ambitious man, the King of Spades is also known for the potential of being self-serving. Translations describe this King as one who will cause problems in relationships. He will strive to get into the middle, and once there, he will divide, conquer and destroy.
Queen of Diamonds (work in progress) - d. gould
The Queen of Diamonds is described as a flirt and a gossip, but also as a woman who gets things done. She is a social woman fond of company. Be careful as she may be inclined to interfere and might cause either unintentional harm or willful damage. As a very attractive woman, she is often able to get away with things. The Queen of Hearts can also be interpreted as a fair-haired woman with earth figuring strongly in her chart.
